Directions

Ingredients

  • 5 lbs Boneless Skinless Chicken Thighs
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
  • Sesame seeds for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven
    • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Prepare the Marinade
    • In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, olive oil, Dijon mustard, dried thyme, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Marinate the Chicken
    • Place the boneless, skinless chicken thighs in a resealable plastic bag or shallow dish. Pour half of the marinade over the chicken, ensuring each piece is well-coated. Set aside the remaining marinade for basting.
  4. Marinate Time
    • Allow the chicken to marinate for at least 30 minutes in the refrigerator. For a deeper flavor, you can marinate it for up to 24 hours.
  5. Bake the Chicken
    • Place the marinated chicken thighs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
  6. Baste with Marinade
    • While baking, baste the chicken with the reserved marinade every 10 minutes for a glossy finish.
  7. Garnish and Serve
    • Once baked, transfer the chicken thighs to a serving platter. Garnish with fresh parsley and sesame seeds if desired.
  8. Optional: Broil for Crispy Skin
    • If you prefer crispier skin, you can broil the chicken for an additional 2-3 minutes until it gets golden brown. Keep a close eye to avoid burning.
  9. Serve Warm
    • Serve the Honey Garlic Baked Chicken Thighs warm over your favorite side dishes, such as rice, quinoa, or roasted vegetables.
