We are a family-owned farm dating back to 1947. From day one, my father and uncle treated the land with respect and used management methods to protect and improve the soil and to grow crops and animals with natural inputs wherever possible. Cattle and chickens roamed on pasture, and crops were grown with a minimum of industrial fertilizers and chemicals, if any.
Today, we produce animals the old-fashioned way, with lots of grass and sunshine—no growth hormones, continuous dosing of antibiotics, or genetically modified organisms. In this rapidly developing portion of Hamilton County, Hoosier Heritage Farm is an oasis of green space.
